Criticizing Photographs Blog Post

I believe that my ascetically evaluative photograph was my most successful because of the pops of colors and various textures seen in it. I think the top view adds a cool effect to the photograph that makes it unique. The most challenging aspect of this assignment was finding creative posts. I tried to keep this assignment in the back of my mind while I went about my everyday life to try to capture cool photographs. In the future, I am going to go more out of my way to capture photograph that are more different than what I see everyday.

Hi! I agree that this is one of your best photos! I agree that you did a great job showing different colors and textures to draw the viewers eye. I believe the table and color of the plates made the textures of the food and color of the food pop so much more.
Hi! I definitely think this was one of your best photos as well! I think the angle you took it from was a great perspective! I also think your lighting was done extremely well because it made the colors in the photograph pop out more and become more vibrant as well! I don't think you could have done anything else to make this a more effective photograph and I think it grasps the concept fully overall!
Hi Evia Mascaro! I really like this photo as well! I think choosing to do this from a high perspective was a really great choice. That and the colors in this photo really help draw me in as well. I can tell that the focus of this was the croissant sandwich but having the drinks to the side helped add to it. The lighting also helps portray a certain mood in this photo. It gives me calm vibes and I think that is due to you using diffused lighting mixed in with your subject. I really don't know what you could add to make this more appealing but I could suggest maybe using the Rule of odds to see how…
